All Types of Braces: Metal, Ceramic & Invisible Braces in Houston, TX

Braces are made of metal and ceramic materials; however, all ceramic and metal braces are not the same. Just because two types of braces are both constructed of similar material does not mean they offer the same in comfort or speed of treatment. Dr. Larry A. Rose and Dr. Ross J. Pulver use hi-tech, advanced metal braces, and enhanced ceramic braces that treat faster, are easier to clean, and more comfortable than standard metal or standard ceramic braces. Dr. Pulver and Dr. Rose will discuss optional, enhanced bracket designs and their greatly improved treatment efficiency in orthodontic treatment compared to standard braces. Our Houston, TX office treats many teen and adult patients with Invisalign® as well.

Ceramic Braces

clear braces

Ceramic braces are made of tooth-colored materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. Ceramic braces can be used on children, teens, and adults who have cosmetic concerns. Many of our patients are stage performers, cheerleaders, athletes, and patients who are more comfortable being in public with a less noticeable orthodontic appliance. Patients who are not Invisalign candidates can be treated using ceramic appliances, and enjoy the cosmetic appearance of a less noticeable orthodontic appliance.

Hi-Tech Stainless Steel Braces

metal braces

Sophisticated, hi-tech metal braces are more comfortable when compared to standard metal orthodontic braces, and patients have the option of adding colored elastics for a more unique and colorful smile.

Invisalign® Clear Aligners

Invisalign® orthodontic treatment uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to straighten the teeth. Not only are the aligners invisible, they are also removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, you can brush and floss your teeth with ease! Not all orthodontic patients are candidates for Invisalign treatment, but ceramic appliances can be used for those patients who would like a less noticeable orthodontic appliance.
